All questions and answers

Where does the bot run?

Each bot runs in its own container on one of our servers, placed where there's room.

Can my bot run while my computer is off?

Yes. After you deploy it, the server runs the bot independently of your computer. Free has no idle sleep, but goes offline after 7 days until you renew. Code errors and maintenance can interrupt it. Bots restart automatically after a crash. Repeated crashes pause restarts; check the console before starting again.

What do I get on Free compared with Starter?

Free includes 256 MB RAM, 1 GB disk and public GitHub deploy for one bot. Starter starts at $0.99 a month with 512 MB, private GitHub repository tokens and crash alerts, without weekly renewal. See pricing for all resource limits.

Does a paid plan renew every week?

No. Paid plans do not use the weekly renewal. The free tier does.

How do I deploy from GitHub?

Free includes GitHub deploy from public repos. Paid plans add private repos. Log in, open GitHub deploy, and connect owner/name and a branch. A push to that branch restarts your bot.

Which languages can I run?

Node.js, Bun, Python, Java, Go and Rust. Start from a template or bring your own code.

What address does the free tier use?

The free tier uses a shared free-tier address. Paid plans use a separate shared address with higher connection limits.

How do I report abuse?

Log in and open the abuse form at https://my.discordbothost.com/contact?kind=abuse. Include the time and what you saw.
