What each one is good for (one line each)
- discordbothost: weekly renewal, own container, Discord-only templates for discord.js, discord.py and JDA, and the cheapest step up to no-renewal hosting ($0.99/mo).
- bot-hosting.net: an established free tier with hourly backups and many runtimes; renew every 4 days, and "no ads" is listed as a paid-plan perk.
- fps.ms: the smallest free plan (128 MB), renew daily; personal, non-commercial bots only.
- Botkeep: 512 MB free with no renewal timer, Node.js or Python, subject to capacity and fair use.
- FadeHost: first bot free from GitHub with nothing to renew; one free bot per verified account.
- Daki: 512 MB "free forever" on a customized Pterodactyl panel in Germany.
- Render / Railway: excellent app platforms, but not built to keep a free gateway bot connected all month.
How to choose a free host
- Check what "free" costs you. A 24-hour renewal means you will miss one eventually. Weekly is the easiest rhythm to keep up with.
- Make sure it doesn't sleep. A Discord bot holds a gateway connection open. Hosts that sleep idle web apps will drop it.
- Match RAM to your library. A small discord.js or discord.py bot fits in 256 MB. JDA (Java) usually wants 512 MB or more. See how much RAM a bot needs.
- Keep your own copy of the code. Backups are available: manual on Free, daily and manual on paid plans. Keep the bot in Git.
- Know the upgrade price. Free is a starting point. Moving to discordbothost Starter is $0.99/mo; on bot-hosting.net the first paid plan is $2.29/mo.
Where discordbothost fits
discordbothost's free plan is for one small bot that you check on once a week. You get 256 MB RAM, 1 GB disk and 0.25 vCPU in an isolated container, with live graphs, a file manager and SFTP. The bot keeps running when it's quiet. Use any sign-in method and verify your email address. Renew opens when the bot goes offline and starts it again. Reminder emails offer Upgrade to keep it running without renewals. Your files are kept until the deletion date shown on the bot page.
You can deploy straight from a public GitHub repo on Free; Free also redeploys on push. Paid plans add private repositories.
Free bots also leave through their own shared outgoing address, separate from paid bots, with per-tier connection limits (why that matters). See the full free plan or all plans.
Backups are available: manual on Free, daily and manual on paid plans.

Questions
Is there truly free 24/7 Discord bot hosting?
Yes. Several bot hosts run a small bot 24/7 for free, usually in exchange for a periodic renewal click. discordbothost gives 256 MB with a weekly renewal and no idle sleep; bot-hosting.net gives 256 MB with renewal every 4 days; fps.ms gives 128 MB with renewal every 24 hours.
Which free Discord bot host has the most RAM?
Among the hosts checked on , Botkeep and Daki list 512 MB on their free plans. discordbothost lists 256 MB; bot-hosting.net and FadeHost list 256 MB; fps.ms lists 128 MB.
Can I host a Discord bot for free on Render or Railway?
Not reliably. Render's free instances are web services only and spin down after 15 minutes without inbound traffic, and background workers are not free. Railway's free plan gives $1 of credit a month after a 30-day trial, which a bot running all month can use up.
