Let members add and remove their own server roles by reacting to configured messages, with mappings saved across restarts.
About this bot
Offer opt-in notification, interest, and access roles without handling each request manually. Administrators configure role messages; members react to receive a role and remove their reaction to remove it. Reaction Light stores its role mappings in SQLite and supports multiple configured messages. The bot can manage only roles below its own highest role. This managed adaptation preserves eibex’s MIT license and source attribution. Runtime self-update and restart commands are disabled so updates use the Marketplace release process. Setup and support
Invite your bot, enable Message Content intent, and give its role Manage Roles above the roles it will assign. Supply BOT_TOKEN and start it. Use /admin to authorize a staff role, then /message new to configure a role message, then test adding and removing a reaction with a normal member. Do not configure administrative or staff roles as self-assignable. Free hosting follows the platform’s weekly renewal and one-active-Free-slot policy.
